Elia Moments · Last updated 13 July 2026

Elia is built to be private by design. It has no account, no backend, and no tracking. This policy explains, in plain language, what that means.

The short version

  • No account and no sign-in.
  • No data is collected by Elia.
  • Your data is never sold or shared.
  • Everything is stored locally on your device.
  • Nothing is uploaded to any Elia server.

What the app stores

Stored locally on your device only: your entries, history derived from them, and settings.

Data leaving your device

Data leaves your device only when you choose to export or share it, using your device's own share options. You pick the destination. Elia does not upload your log to any service of its own.

Backups

Automatic cloud backup and device-to-device transfer of app data are disabled. Your log moves only through an export you start yourself.

Network and permissions

Core use does not require registration or a connection. The app avoids unnecessary permissions and contains no advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app's data, or uninstalling the app, removes the local data from your device. Because nothing is stored elsewhere, that is all it takes.

Children

Elia is intended as a tool for adults and caregivers. It does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
